Gnarlwood: Terrible fortress
As the fighting beneath the Gnarlwood intensifies, the warbands must do everything they can to gain control of even the smallest areas of the root maze. A clever strategist knows that the answer lies in strong fortifications - and so he has his warriors trap and build walls in areas that are not yet secured, making it an impregnable bastion as the enemy advances. The most successful combat engineers can even earn the title of Castellan of the Dread Fortress!
Jump into Warhammer Underworlds or breathe new life into your games with the complete Dread Fortress Rivals Deck, which can be used by any warband - including those from previous seasons. These cards can be used as a standalone deck for Rivals games, mixed with a warband's unique cards for Nemesis games, or used to build an entirely new deck for Relic games. This deck contains no spells, allowing warbands from any season to take full advantage of it. Each map is brand new to the game and focuses on specific markers to set up defensive positions. For warbands with a focus on controlling areas of the board, such as Heirs of Velmorn, Cunning Dagger's Clawpack, Haskel's Witch Hunters, and Grinserich's Mad State, Dread Fortress fits their playstyle particularly well.
