Primaris Intercessors

A strong core of reliable and adaptable warriors who can fire while advancing or holding terrain is a valuable asset to any tactician. In the case of task forces reinforced by Primaris Chapter brothers, this role is filled by the Intercessor Squads. These squads can deliver overlapping volleys of fire and often form the flexible fighting core of newly formed Primaris Chapters - although of course many established Chapters readily take advantage of their abilities and deploy them alongside Tactical Squads.

This multi-part plastic kit contains all the parts to assemble a set of 10 Primaris Intercessors. Wearing Type-X Tacticus armor to take advantage of its protection and mobility, they prove to be reliable and adaptable warriors, each armed with a bolt rifle. Your bolt rifles can be one of three variants - standard bolt rifle with sickle magazine, assault bolt rifle with overload capacitor and box magazine, or stalker bolt rifle with scope and rod magazine. There are 10 right shoulder pads decorated with Intercessor iconography - enough to cover each of the arm variants, including 2 with an open radio console, 2 arms that signal the squad to stop, 2 with combat knives, and 2 that fire bolt pistols. The kit contains a total of 24 different heads with and without helmets.

These models can be built as either a 10-man squad, a squad of 9 Intercessors with a Sergeant, or 2 separate 5-man squads, each with its own Sergeant. The Sergeants have unique heads and a helmet magnetically attached to the belt and unique shields to make them stand out.

To represent their versatility on the battlefield, the kit includes numerous details that can be attached to the armor - 12 pistol holsters (2 empty for Intercessors holding pistols), 10 ammunition and grenade pouches, 6 combat knife sheaths (4 empty), 4 single Grenade pockets and 4 pockets for bolt pistol ammunition.
