Vertus Praetors

Squads of Vertus Praetors glide into battle on powerful Dawneagle jetbikes. These Custodians are seasoned warriors who have seen war on hundreds of worlds, and they understand the value of speed: not just to pressure the enemy, but to bring their power to bear right where and when bring it where it is needed most. Wherever their comrades are most hard pressed, they strike like golden lightning to reinforce them. They thunder across the battlefield, moving at lightning speed along the flanks of the heaviest enemy vehicles and encircling them - even enemy aviators cannot imagine themselves safe from them, because by combining their fire, Vertus Praetors can weave flying webs of flak explosions , into which enemy planes crash with a completely final outcome.

This multi-part plastic kit contains all the components to build a squad of 3 Vertus Praetors. Riding their Dawneagle jetbikes, they wear slightly lighter armor than the other warriors of the Adeptus Custodes in order to avoid being too heavy - although they are still protected by auramite breastplates, shoulder pads and helmets, they also wear woven trousers, boots and robes. The armor they wear is covered in finely sculpted sigils of the Emperor, with Imperial eagles, lightning bolts, gems and engraving found on every surface, while the jetbikes they pilot feature similar detailing on their aggressively sculpted casings. The Praetors carry interceptor lances and misericordias, while the Dawneagle jetbikes can be armed with Hurricane Bolters or Volley Launchers - whichever you choose will be visible at the front, with the engine and weapons feed visible through gaps in the casing. The control includes a large screen with many indicators and buttons. The kit can also be used to build a Shield Captain, who stands out with his unhelmeted head.
