Custodian Wardens

Custodian Wardens are known among their comrades as level-headed and endlessly patient guardians. As they assume the robes that mark their position, they swear in binding oaths to fight as steadfast sentinels, living fortresses of auramite and sinew that no enemy will ever overcome. Each Warden's oaths are personal, for he writes them himself on the ledges of the gallows tower after a full year of introspection. Breaking the oaths would be worse than death for these warriors, and their determination to uphold them strengthens their already formidable willpower only more so to a truly terrifying intensity.

This multi-part plastic kit contains all the components to build a unit of 5 Custodian Wardens. They are easily recognized by the ceremonial robes over their auramite armor, which makes them a magnificent sight to behold - as with all Adeptus Custodes, every surface of their armor is covered in sculpted details such as gems, eagles, lightning bolts, and engraving. Each is armed with either a Guardian Spear or a Castellan Axe, 5 of each included in the kit. The helmets, helmet decorations and hip armor in the kit are interchangeable, allowing you to give your Wardens a unique look.

The kit can optionally be used to build a Shield Captain, who can receive one of 2 unhelmeted heads, a unique breastplate, unique shoulder pads and his own ceremonial robe - he can be armed with a castellan ax or guardian spear and carries a misericordia. In addition, 1 model can be built as a Vexilus Praetor - in addition to the regular weapon options, he carries an ornate Vexiullum.
