Each March of the Machine Set Booster contains 12 Magic cards, 1 artwork card, and 1 token/promo, help card, or card from "the list" (a special card from Magic 's history - found in 25% of the boosters).

Each booster contains a combination of 1-5 rare or higher rarity cards, 3-8 uncommons, 2-7 commons, and 1 land card. 1 non-artwork card and non-land card of any rarity is a foil card. Traditional fringeless foil planeswalker mythic rare in <1% of boosters. 10% of the boosters come with a promo-printed signature artwork card instead of the artwork card.
